Telecom & Retail : Venkatesh V

Venkatesh has 23 years of corporate career in two of India's leading companies, Bharti Airtel & Hindustan Unilever. His last role in Bharti Airtel was as CEO for mobile services, Karnataka for 4 years. Under his guidance Karnataka grew to be the largest mobile circle operation in India with over 800 million US $ of revenue, and also the highest Revenue market share circle in India, reaching over 50% market share.
Prior to this he handled various national roles as Brand Head of Airtel, Head of Consumer Usage & Retention and Head of Post paid business at Airtel. Prior to Airtel, Venky was a part of Hindustan Unilever for over 13 years. His last role at Levers being National Marketing Manager for their Beverages and Food business.
Venky has an MBA from IIM (Ahmedabad) and is an associate from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Institute of Cost accounts of India. He is providing consulting support to RuralShores in the Telecom and Retail domains.

Insurance & Banking : Anita Ravishankar

Anita is a 26 year veteran in Retail Operations in Mortgages & Life Insurance.
Her 15 year stint with the Mortgage Giant “HDFC LTD” has helped her master the Mortgage Lending Domain with all its intricacies and nuances for both the Individual and Corporate Customers. Customer centric Service and process excellence were ingrained in this association and she got a chance to further add International flavour to the domain when she was heading the Quality Assurance Function for R Systems (formerly Indus Software) – an IT Company in the space of Lending Products. Her last role as Vice-President Branch Operations at HDFC Standard Life Insurance, allowed her to expand her retail Operations expertise into the Life Insurance Domain.
She will be our Consultant in the Financial Services Domain.

E Governance : Raju Bhatnagar

Raju Bhatnagar, is an independent Consultant specifically focussed in the IT and ITeS areas. Till recently he was Vice President – BPO and Government Relations at NASSCOM, where he was responsible for providing leadership for the initiatives for various NASSCOM Forums including BPO, Labour, HR and CFO forums. He has been associated with the ITeS/BPO industry for the past 12 years having set up and run large third party BPO operations with companies including eFunds International, ICICI OneSource and Tata Business Support Services, where he pioneered India’s first Rural BPO delivery centre. Prior to the ITeS/BPO industry, he spent 18 years with ANZ Grindlays Bank. He has worked in several functional areas including Forex Dealing, Retail Banking and Corporate Lending, heading Country Operations for the Bank; spearheading the Business Process Re-Engineering project (BPR); conceptualizing and setting up the first of the shared services centres for handling centralized operations for the Bank in India. Raju Bhatnagar has been an advisor to State Governments, in India, on ITeS related matters and also been a part of several think tanks for the industry segment.
