Mr. Murali is the Chief Architect, Co-Founder and CEO of RuralShores. He is also a founding Director of Compassites Software, a technology ideation company, headquartered in Bangalore. He served as Strategy Advisor to a number of IT & ITES companies in India and overseas. Previously, as Managing Director of Xansa India (now Steria), he was credited to grow Xansa offshore IT and BPO operations in India. Prior to Xansa, Murali worked as a Regional Director for EDS Asia Pacific (now HP). Having lived in the USA for 15 years and Asia Pacific (Singapore) for 5 years, Murali held several senior executive positions at large IT and BPO organizations globally

Mr. Ranganathan is one of the Co-Founders of RuralShores. He is also Co-Founder and Chairman of Compassites. He is on the advisory and governing board of some prestigious foundations such as The Bharti Foundation (Airtel); was a Senior Partner with Earnst & Young. He served the firm in India for about 10 years in various capacities during which Ranga closely participated in the manifold growth of the Firm. His own portfolio of clients included some of the very large and prestigious Fortune 500 companies. Ranga also served the global firm for several years in their overseas office. He also worked in South Africa to co-found and be a senior partner of a closely held professional services firm which later became a member firm of Moores Rowland International. Ranga has contributed significantly to the study and research on the subject of entrepreneurship. He has published extensively on the subject. Ranga is now associated with a number of social projects driven by social entrepreneurs.

Mr. Srinivasan is one of the Co-Founders and acting CFO of RuralShores. Srini has over 25 years experience in Finance, Marketing and General Management across leading corporations. He advises clients in the areas of strategic finance, strategic planning advice for startups, Consulting, Venture Capital & Private Equity investments for corporates and Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to joining Dawn Consulting, Srinivasan has worked at Wipro Finance as Vice President, Marketing, SRF in various corporate functions and at Wimco and Pressmetal Corp.

Mr. Ram is one of the Co-Founders of RuralShores. He is President and Group CIO of Essar Group, one of the largest industrial conglomerate in India. Earlier he served as CIO of HDFC Bank since its inception in 1994. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He also served as a director on the boards of a number of companies, including HDFC Bank affiliates SolutionNET India Private Ltd, Flexcel International Private Ltd, and Softcell Technologies Ltd.

Mr. V.S. Rangan, Executive Director of HDFC Ltd., holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. Mr. Rangan joined the Corporation in 1986 and has served in Delhi and was the Senior General Manager - Corporate Planning & Finance at Head Office since 2000. Mr. Rangan has been appointed as the Executive Director of the Corporation for a period of 5 years with effect from January 1, 2010. He is also a member of the Investors’ Grievance Committee of Directors with effect from May 4, 2010. He is responsible for the Treasury, Resources and Accounts functions of the Corporation

Mr Ramesh has 28 years of global industry experience and is currently a consultant advising small and start up companies in India . He started his career with Unilever and worked with them in India and in the UK for over 20 years . During his association with Unilever, he set up Indigo, the shared services subsidiary for Unilever and led its development globally. When Unilever sold the business, he oversaw the transition of Indigo to Capgemini. In Capgemini, he led the BPO business for Asia and was a member of the global BPO Board. During this period he lived and worked in China and led a 4000 member team across India, China and Australia.
Ramesh has global experience in the consumer goods and outsourcing industries, having been responsible for and carried out assignments in over 20 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.
Ramesh is a Management post graduate from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Mr. Ganesh Rengaswamy is a partner at Lok Capital and brings proven global experience in Investing, Entrepreneurship and General Management focused on strong social impact and business justification across several sectors including Microfinance, Financial Services, Education, Technology, and Digital services.
Ganesh was India and SE Asia Country Director for Unitus Inc., advising partners and serving on the global senior management team. He worked at Infosys Technologies managing mission-critical engagements for Fortune 500 clients and leading $100 million (USD) customer acquisition programs. He helped launched India investments for Greylock Partners - one of the oldest top-tier venture capital firm´s in the US - and focused on early and growth stage investments, and built the firm´s brand and investment platform in India. He was co-founder of Travelguru (now a Travelocity company), the leading online travel company for hotels and vacations in India and South Asia.
Ganesh holds a Bachelor´s degree in engineering from IT-BHU/IIT Varanasi, a Masters in Business Administration Harvard Business School, and a graduate degree in finance and systems strategy from IIM-Kolkata.

Mr. Donald Peck, Treasurer from November 2008 is an emerging markets economist, spending much of his career in South Asia and South America as a business adviser and investor, including 12 years building venture capital businesses in India.

Until 2008 Donald managed a South Asian venture capital portfolio of over $1 billion for the UK Government-owned Commonwealth Development Corporation (CDC). He was a director of CDC and a founding partner of Actis. In 2006 he founded (and is mentor of) Lok Capital, a social venture capital fund investing in for-profit micro-finance businesses in India providing financial and other services to the poor. He is an adviser to i2india, an innovations company supporting research and patent development in India. He is also engaged in work on South American conservation and environmental problems as Chairman of Foundation Rachel & Pamela Schiele.

Before joining CDC, from 1978-88 Donald advised companies investing in Latin America, followed by three years investing equity in smaller companies in the emerging markets of South America and Eastern Europe at the World Bank Group in Washington. Donald holds a D.Phil in History from the University of Oxford.
