Vinayak Gaddale : I joined as a Process Lead for RuralShores in August 2010. I did my MBA (Masters in Business Administration- Marketing). I chose Ruralshores because I believe that work we are doing will greatly help the rural population in India and I am proud to be a part of this initiative.People in my team are friendly and trusting. The job at RuralShores is my first position and I have learned a lot and am still learning. Also, I am about to go though the training for up increasing my skills and competencies and looking forward to it eagerly..

Deepa Shetty : I am a BSc graduate and pursuing MA in English and working as a Process Associate for RuralShores Thirthahalli since 20 months. I am from a conservative family and did not get the opportunity to work in urban areas. Now I’m living with my husband and my kid. I have worked as a teacher for four years and now I have joined RuralShores to acquire more experience in the BPO sector and am glad that I have my husband’s support. I have always been open to learning, very enthusiastic and I believe in sharing my knowledge, ideas, and experience in different processes with my colleagues. I’m coming to Rural shores for the vast experience and knowledge same as what urban youth get. I would say that “we are as good as urban people but I can now say we are better than urban folks”.I have worked consistently in different process and currently working in an email response process. I believe that, discipline is essential for success and self-discipline is the best discipline. I’m now independent and have faith in myself that I can survive anywhere. And now I’m eagerly waiting for my bright future and positive changes.

Anjitha : I did my graduation and pursuing MBA(distance). I am from an agriculturist family. I have been a part of RuralShores as a process associate since one and half years, and I have done various processes like voice, non voice and data entry. After completing my graduation, I used to stay at home; there were no options for me to go to cities like Bangalore in search of a job at that time because my family was not supporting me to go in search of job alone.It was the happiest moment of my life when I came to know that a center called RuralShores started at Thirthahalli. I joined RS in Jan 22, 2010 then got training in communication and improved typing skills. In the month of Nov 2010, I was selected for an email process which is a customer Loyalty program. I learnt a lot from both voice and non voice processes. I improved my communication and soft skills and handling of customers. I am very satisfied with my work and hope it will help in my future. I am very thankful to the RS management which gave me the work opportunity at my door step. I am very glad to work with RS, as I can stay with my family and also complete my PG course.

Manoj : I have been working as a Process Associate in Rural Shores BPO, Thirthahalli from past 1 year. RuralShores started its branch in Thirthahalli on January 22nd 2010. Firstly, for about 2 months we had typing practice to improve our typing speed, further the first project came in which was a data entry process. I worked in this process for about 2 months. Then a voice based process came to our center. I worked as back end to it for 1 month. My work is to check the quality of the calls. I was sent to RuralShores Bagepalli center in Kolar district to learn and to do work in Thirthahalli for Email process which has Front Office where we respond to customer's emails on their queries and Back Office where the data entry happens in the back end. Currently I am working in this process. I have many friends in this center to work with me. Our center Manager Arun and our Process Leaders - Abhishek, Sandhya and Vinayak are also very friendly and cooperative. I am proud to work in this center.

Vasanthi : I was born and brought up in Thirthahalli. I am working in Rural Shores since 22 March 2010 as a process associate. My home is located at Kuruvalli which is 3.5KM far from our office. We are five members in my family. My father is a business man. My brother is helping my father in his business. I did my B.A Graduation at Tunga Mahaavidyalaya in Thirthahalli in 2009. After completing my graduation I stayed with my family because my parents are not supportive of me going in search of a job to Bangalore or to any other far off locations. Then I joined RuralShores in March 22 2010 as by then my sister was already working with RuralShores as a Process Associate. My sister approached me and explained about benefits of RuralShores and how it will help us and with her suggestion I joined RuralShores. First I got the training for 2 months. This training was about improving typing and communication skills. This helped a lot. Once the training was completed I worked for a data entry process for a while. Then I moved to a voice process where I have been working for 1 year. I would like to say that, I am very happy to work here at RuralShores because I can stay with my family and also I can work with my sister and friends at my home town.

Naziya : I am working at RuralShores Thirthahalli since 1 year 10 months. I joined in Jan 2010 which was inauguration day of RS through our ex Chief Minister Yadiyurappa and in the first batch of recruits. I am from Thirthahalli town, completed my graduation BCom in Tunga College in Thirthahalli. Joined here as a process trainee and now I am process associate. I learnt so much after joining RS. Before I was at home and just doing house hold work and taking tuition classes in the evenings.First few months I learnt basic computer skills and I improved my typing skills as well. Later I worked a voice process which helped me improve my communication skills, my way of speaking to people, understanding them and responding to their queries and concerns. As I am now, working in a email process which has helped me in improving my writing skills and basic English and grammar. Coming out from 4 walls of my house, I feel the difference now and am confident that I can survive on my own anywhere. Thank you RS to have given me chance to work and also other people of rural area who are poor and needy. People respect me now that I work for a BPO and I am educated person. My co workers they helped me in each and every day or whenever I had challenges. We have a fun and a learning environment created at our center. I am so happy that I got an opportunity to work here at RS Thirthahalli.

Usha Parmar : I work at the Bhiloda center for a employee reimbursement process. I come from a near by village Chiboda, 7 kms from the center. My day starts as early as 04:30 am and I am one of the first to reach the center. After finishing my morning work and packing the lunch box, I take a bus to the center. My parents work in the field. I am earning and supporting my family even though I do not have any brother. I am very thankful for those who thought of taking such initiative to bring the jobs in rural areas like this. I was very shy in nature and could not realize my real strength, working with the center gave me an opportunity to explore myself. I am happy and confident now, as these positive changes gives joy to my parents. I am happy and contented within.” (translated)

Amit Panchal : I joined RuralShores, Bhiloda Center as a Process Associate in Aug-2010. I am from Chitariya Village which is 36 km away from the center. “The biggest achievement for me is time management, I wake up at 5 AM and reach the bus stop by 6.20 am. After a journey of 1.5 hours I reach the office at 8 o'clock. My father is a farmer and my elder brother is working at Udaipur. My family is very happy with such type of initiatives taken by RuralShores, because now I do not have to go outside for employment like my elder brother went. I am working in an employee reimbursement process. The challenge which I faced is that this process requires knowledge of excel and at the time of joining I had none. But I am thankful to the staff of RS. I not only gained the good knowledge of Excel but also written communication through email and my English also improved. Apart from it, I have a good reputation in my village and society. I am supporting my family with my income and studying also. I am doing graduation. I am very confident and seeking my future as a Process Lead in RuralShores after completing graduation.”

Nayna Katara : I am working at Rural Shores, Bhiloda since 2 years. My home is located 30 km from our office. We are seven members in my family, I am the eldest among my brother & sister. Our family income was very less. My father is a labourer. But he always encouraged me to study despite me being a female and girls in our village do not study more than Std 8 or 9 . In these conditions I completed my M A in Arts from Vijayanagar. After that I went to Ahmadabad for a job and stayed there for 1 month. But I found it very difficult to manage and mold myself in the culture of big cities. Than I heard about RuralShores opening a center in Bhiloda that required manpower with typing knowledge on computers. I joined here as a process trainee and now I am a process associate. I learned so much after joining RS. First I got the training for 2 months. This training was about improving typing speed with accuracy and also about the communication skills. This helped me a lot. Once the training was completed, I worked in the data entry process. I am supporting my family and encouraging my siblings to study. My family is very thankful to bring these jobs in rural areas. I am also very happy because I never thought that I will get the job in the vicinity of my town where the same culture is followed and also we are given various training on communication skills, behavioral skills which has given the confidence of speaking among people and dressing sense.Now our society is encouraged and stated sending the children to school in keeping view the possibility of these type of jobs.

Sembaruthi : I am working in Ruralshores Rathnagiri as a Process Associate for the last two years. I am doing B.B.A final year by correspondence. My father is a farmer by profession and mother is a housewife and bedridden for last five years. I have one brother and two sisters and my aim is to become a teacher. Due to some financial crisis and also my mothers health condition , I was forced to get a job in the city and fortunately I came to know that RuralShores is providing jobs to the people where I currently live; hence my father told me to join the company and support the family and my education without migrating to the city and this is the real boon God has given me and on this occasion I would like to thank Sathya Sai Baba , Mr.G.S, Mr.Murali and my team. Elizabeth : I am working in Ruralshores Rathnagiri as a Process Associate for the last two years. I am doing B.B.A final year by correspondence. I live with my 87 year old grandmother since childhood since my parents passed away. My sister is studying B.Com. My dream is to become a software engineer. But I do not have enough money to do my higher studies. I have seen the tough walks of life right from my childhood days and have struggled a lot and there were many sleepless nights and one fortunate day I got a wonderful job opportunity from Ruralshores. After joining RuralShores my personal problems and family problems are resolved to an extent and it’s a great relief. The income that I gain from my job is currently fulfilling my day to day needs and resulted in better life style especially my sister's education. I would want my sister to become a Chartered Accountant and that is only possible if I am with RuralShores. I would like to thank the entire management for giving me an opportunity to be part of RuralShores and I wish and would like to see great transformation not only in my life but also my colleagues.

Deepthi Santhi : I am working as a process associate in Pulla center since July 2010 and also studying M.A. I learned so much through this. I was a novice about computers before joining here. Initially it used to be very tough to type. But I've improved a lot now. I even got "Star of the Month" certificate. My colleagues are good and helping They behave as if they are  my sisters and brothers.  Really I like this job very much. Because it gives financial help to my family. I learned computer basics, spoken English, communication skills after joining in this office. I'm very happy to have such opportunity very near to my home. Really it has given good life for me and my family. I feel proud and happy to do this job."

ML Prasanna : I am working in Ruralshores ,Pulla center as a process associate for the last 16 months. I discontinued my graduation due to family problems. After marriage I faced many troubles. At that time I did not know anything about this company. I am physically handicapped and I have one daughter also. Her responsibilities are all on me. When I heard about a qualifying test in Ruralshores, I appeared and cleared it. I was interviewed and was taken into the company. I feel very happy to get this opportunity. It's not only ja ob, this is good chance to learn more skills. This opportunity is very very helpful to me and my daughter. I am waiting to say thanks to Ruralshores for many days.  Noorfathima : I work at RuralShores, Bagepalli and joined after Std. 12. For me working together in a place near my village has been a blessing. My parents work in a nearby hotel as labourers, and they have many less fortunate friends that ended up in garment manufacturing, tower maintenance, and other fields of hard labor. It’s great to be here. Commuting is not an issue and we all get to live with our parents Outside of work,I help with household works such as cooking and cleaning, or just hanging out with my friends.
